Asian Cardiovascular and Thoracic Annals is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed academic journal focused on research in cardiology and cardiovascular medicine. The journal is led by its editor-in-chief, A. Sampath Kumar, affiliated with Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital. Established in 1993 by Frank Tamru, the journal originated as part of Asia Publishing Exchange in Singapore, aiming to serve as the first scientific publication for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons in the region.

Today, the journal is published by SAGE Publications in collaboration with the Asian Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. It has maintained a continuous publication history since its inception and features research that caters to a global audience of medical professionals.
