Ethiopian Journal of Health Development

The Ethiopian Journal of Health Development is a not-for-profit peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes analytical, descriptive, and methodological articles, reviews, brief communications, and commentaries on public health issues, to inform current research, policy, and practice in all areas of common interest to scholars in the field of public health. The journal publishes materials relevant to a wide range of disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, and trans-disciplinary studies.

The Ethiopian Journal of Health Development is jointly managed and run by the School of Public Health, Addis Ababa University, and the Ethiopian Public Health Association. The Editorial Board is composed of professionals from diverse disciplinary fields who will oversee the routine publication processes. In addition, the journal has Editorial Advisors from a wide range of disciplines across the world to ensure the quality and positive image of the journal vis-a-vis similar to other scientific outlets. Routine operation of the journal is run by an editorial team, composed of the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, Editorial Assistant, Journal Manager, and other administrative staff.

Currently, the journal is fully online. Authors, reviewers, and other interested public health professional are expected to register online to be able to visit the website[1], to submit their research work for publication, read about the journal and submission procedures, read published articles from our archives, download documents, recommend articles to others, and so on. We have guidelines for authors and reviewers, as well as a privacy policy, which should be consulted should you intend to submit a manuscript or be invited to review a submission. Names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

The journal is open access, with submissions, reviews, and publication processes all following the Online Journal System. The Ethiopian Journal of Health Development follows the Creative Commons Attribution license.
